This design addressed the owners desire for a new garden with a small lap pool and a garden folly. The pavilion could serve various functions: as an outdoor room for reading and quiet reflection in the shade, or as an outdoor room for entertaining - be it dining or musical performances. The structure opens eastward looking onto the adjacent pool and it’s west wall incorporates a wooden screen to filter the bright Florida sunsets.
