The goal of the project was to provide programming and design that reflected the client’s educational vision of a center showcasing joyful academic endeavor. The spaces needed to engender curiosity from passersby yet provide a sense of privacy and security for the students within. The interior was designed to be highly adaptable with a large amount of visual transparency, yet providing acoustic privacy. The spaces reflect Montessori characteristics such as self-regulation and wondering, sparking the curiosity of the pupils.
