This renovation promoted a “…lively, interdisciplinary exchange among faculty, students and visitors from around the world.” It focused on an existing adjacent lounge and kitchen spaces that were much too separate and needed to be unified. Selective demolition, along with a new kitchen bar and updated furnishings are now better aligned with the department’s goals.
