Recipient of LEED Silver status, this interior renovation in Cambridge, MA, did not pursue sustainability for its own sake. Instead, our approach was comprehensive, incorporating sustainable and responsibly-sourced materials and focusing on flexible workspaces and how – through design – an open, biophilic and healthy working environment can encourage well-being.
The design team’s first priority was to provide the flexible spaces needed for Arup’s dynamic and unique approach – one that promotes teamwork, and an open sharing of ideas with co-workers and all members of their various project design teams, whether local or half-way around the globe.
